Trinity: a Meditation ・ 三位一体の黙想
あなたがたが子であることは、神が、『あっ場、父よ』と叫ぶ御子の霊を、わたしたちの心に送ってくださった事実から分かります。–ガラタ４:６．
私たちは、
神ご自身がどのようなかたであるかを知れません。
ただ聖書の物語だけから、神を知っています。
聖書によって私たちは、
神と神の世界そしてその民と
神がどのように互いに影響しますか、聴きます。
父と子と聖霊を聞いて、三位のペルソナといいますが、
各ペルソナは別なあり方で神です。
御父は泉として神です。
御子は世のうちの神の現れとして神です。
聖霊は、よのなかでかみの働くエネルギーです。
泉は、現れより偉大ではなくて、
エネルギーは泉よりすくなくありません。
贈り物を与える方は、贈り物よりも偉大ではなく、
また贈り物は、
贈り物を与えることよりも偉大ではありません。
御父は御子と踊っていると、
聖霊は手をとって私たちを踊りに導きます。
わたしたちは、ぐるぐる回りながら、
だれがだれであるか、楽しくて忘れてきます。
すべての栄光、賛美、ほまれは、創めのように、
今も、いつも、世々に。
すべての民は、『アーメン』と言いなさい。

As proof that you are children, God sent the spirit of his Son into our hearts, crying out, “Abba, Father.”—Galatians 4:6 (New American Bible)
We do not know
what God is like within God’s self.
We know only from the biblical story.
There we hear how God interacts
with his world and with his people.
We hear Father, Son, and Spirit and call them Persons,
and each Person is God in a different way.
The Father is God as Source,
the Son is God as Manifestation in the world,
the Spirit is the Energy of God working in the world.
The Source is no greater than the Manifestation,
nor is the Energy less than the Source.
The Giver is no greater than the Gift,
nor is the Giving less great than either.
The Father dances with the Son,
and the Spirit takes our hand and brings us
into the dance, and as the dance goes
round and round,
we cheerfully lose track of who is who.
All glory, praise and honor as it was in the beginning,
both now and always, and forever and ever.
And let all the peoples say, “Amen.”
